In Proverbs 10, the proverbs of Solomon begin:
The long discourses of chapters 1–9 give way to short, two-line sayings, each contrasting the wise and the foolish. It opens, "A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother."
Much of the chapter is about speech—the wise guard their words, while too much talk leads to sin: "he who restrains his lips does wisely."
Hard work brings provision, while laziness brings poverty.
Integrity keeps a person secure—"He who walks blamelessly walks surely."
Real blessing comes from the LORD, not from scheming: "The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it."
Memory Verse:
Proverbs 10:22 'Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. '

In Proverbs 9, Wisdom and Folly are set side by side:
Wisdom builds her house, prepares a feast, and calls from the heights of the city, inviting the simple to come eat and "leave your simple ways, and live."
The mocker resents being rebuked, while the wise person welcomes it.
Proverb's central theme is reiterated—"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom."
Folly & Wisdom both offer a path, both offer an invitation: the difference is where their path leads—Wisdom's path leads to life, Folly's path leads to death.
Memory Verse:  Proverbs 9:10
The fear of Yahweh (the LORD) is the beginning of wisdom.
The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Scripture reading is from the World English Bible.

In Proverbs 3, there are many short and important wisdom statements about what to value highly (wisdom over wealth, giving over hoarding, kindness over selfishness, good over evil), and many contrasting statements about the blessings of following wisdom and the consequences of not doing so.
Memory Verse:  Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB):
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
